A method for separating variables has been proposed to solve integral-differential equations. The research of wave processes in high-voltage two-winding transformers during the action of pulse overvoltages is carried out using the given mathematical apparatus. The distribution of voltages along the windings depending on the distance and time is given, which makes it possible to coordinate the insulation gaps.
