Research on the selection of material and design of the working bodies of the rotor-pulsation apparatus, ensuring their durability and reliability. An experimental-industrial sample of the device for the study of aeration processes and mass transfer in liquid media (drinking water, wort, nutrient medium, wastewater) was made. The influence of the mechanisms of discrete-pulse energy input on the processes of aeration and mass transfer in the treated media is investigated. Resource- and energy-saving technologies for growing aerobic microorganisms, biological wastewater treatment, and drinking water treatment have been developed. An industrial aeration-oxidation unit of rotor type (AORT) with a capacity of 20-40 m3 / h was manufactured, its hydraulic and energy parameters were studied. Technological parameters of water treatment for the purpose of removal of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, pH adjustment are determined.
