Research methods - generalization, analysis and synthesis of literary, patent and stock materials, data of field, in-house and laboratory researches; laboratory-analytical, methods of mathematical statistics; export estimates, analogies and extrapolations. It is established that the management of soil regimes of drained lands should be based on: the principles of soil protection monitoring or systematic spatial and temporal observations of the soil cover of drained lands; measures to regulate the immobilization and mobilization functions of drained soils; to prevent the development of degradation processes by reclamation (drainage-wetting, soil-structural, phytoremediation). Novelty - in substantiation of various directions of use of the drained soils and expediency of cultivation of power cultures on these soils; introduction of theoretical principles of regulation of immobilization-mobilization functions of drained soils; application of a set of agro-ameliorative measures on drained soils. The efficiency of implementation on drained soils is 22-27%. Scope - agriculture.
