Objective: To study the character of the inheritance of quantitative traits in hybrids of common beans on the basis of created source material with improved taste. To study selected perspective material in competition and other breeding nurseries. Research methods: hybridization, selection, field and laboratory studies, production testing, statistical analysis. The main results of the research: created a gene pool of beans with valuable economic characteristics. A new source material obtained by the method of intervarietal hybridization was investigated. Lines and numbers that exceed the standards for grain yield and its quality, disease resistance, and suitability for mechanized harvesting have been selected in breeding nurseries. According to the results of research in the competitive variety testing on the set of characteristics identified the best promising breeding numbers: 757-19, 767-19, 763-19, 864-16. According to the results of observations in recent years, the selection number 864-16, which was transferred to the State Variety Testing under the name Natalka - application № 20025001 dated 20.11.10, turned out to be more stable in terms of the set of traits. In the current 2020, the best in the previous variety test were selection numbers: 751-19, 802-20, 772-19, 824-20, 766-19 and 770-18; in the control nursery: 2714-20; 2662-20, 2798-20; 2688-20; 2726-20; 2664-20, which significantly exceeded the standards for the level of yield for the duration of the growing season up to 110 days. The weight of 1000 seeds is about 300 grams. Economically valuable traits and shape of plants of marked varieties meet the basic requirements for mechanized harvesting. The color of the seed coat is mostly white. The study and creation of new selection material continued.
