The aim of the study was to elucidate the effects and mechanisms of action of regulatory neuropeptides from hibernating tissues on the processes of apoptosis under cold stress in vitro and in vivo studies. The first section presents the materials and research methods used in the work. The second section on the model of cold stress proved the protective effect of a synthetic analogue of leu-enkephalin «Dalargin», as evidenced by the probable reduction of DNA fragmentation in the tissues of the intestinal mucosa and spleen. In the third section in vivo studies on the model of cold stress in rats, the protective effect of neuropeptides kiotorfin, neokiotorfin and synthetic analogue of leu-enkephalin «Dalargin», which is manifested in a probable reduction of cells with signs of apoptosis (DNA fragmentation and violation of the integrity of membrane structures). The fourth section presents the results on the protective effect of the neuropeptide kiotorphin and a synthetic analogue of leu-enkephalin «Dalargin» on morphological signs and markers of apoptosis of caspase 3 and cytochrome c in leukocytes, lymphocytes and fibroblasts L929 subjected to cold stress. When using the opioid receptor inhibitor «Naloxone», the mechanism of protective action of «Dalargin» on cell apoptosis initiated by cold stress was elucidated.
