The purpose of the entire work is to develop a methodology and technology for liquidation of accumulations of liquid oil products in the underground hydrosphere for the most typical geological and hydrogeological conditions for Ukraine. The goal of the second year (third stage) is the selection and substantiation of a technology for selective extraction of liquid petroleum products and groundwater from underground space, which has been tested at a specific facility - at the Kremenchug Oil Refinery plant (KORP). Research methods - information retrieval; analysis of data on the state of the environment in the zone of influence of the objects of the Kremenchug Oil Refinery plant (KORP); development of a method for determining ecologically acceptable technogenic pressure on the aquatic environment; theoretical substantiation of the features of the formation of pollution centers using the method of mathematical modeling of geofiltration; analysis of data on the current state of the aquatic environment and forecast of its changes; approaches to solving water protection problems in the territories of ground and surface water pollution by liquid oil products. Research results and their novelty - the result of research work on the third stage is an interim report dedicated to the development of a methodology for conducting a theoretical justification for the choice of environmentally acceptable measures to protect the aquatic environment at a specific facility (Kremenchug Oil Refinery plant (KORP).
