Marker analysis of plants of hybrid populations obtained by crossing with lines-sources of resistance genes PlARG and AHAS1 identified the gomozygous samples for further use in the breeding program to create resistant to powdery mildew and sulfonylurea herbicides lines and hybrids of sunflower. According to the results of the analysis of the data of the marker study and the phenotypic and immunological evaluations of the samples of I3 –I4 – I5 generations the efficiency of marker breeding was determined. Molecular-genetic analysis of the delta-12-desaturase gene revealed the marker DELTA-12-HOS-allele to identify lines with a high content of oleic acid in seed oil.
