This model is based on a wide range of monitoring studies: the quantitative composition of the livestock, the structure of the breeds' gene pool herds, the dynamics of breeding changes in populations, the level of genetic potential and breeding value of genotypes; the structure of phenotypic and genotypic variability, the choice of traits that have a high correlation with the main economically useful traits; using the principles of stabilizing selection for consolidation and increasing homozygosity; determination of the main breeding traits inheritance type, degree of relationship, adaptive ability; use of genotypes immunogenetic analysis of the gene pool herds populations structure.
