In the conditions of severe spring-summer deficit of soil moisture of the current season it is allocated genotypes of these crops with high drought tolerance, which will be used in the future as a base material in the creation of drought-resistant varieties of winter wheat, triticale, barley. Lines have been selected: 2500 lines of winter wheat, containing genetically modified starch composition; 150 lines of winter triticale; 1500 lines of winter naked barley with two rows of ears, 600 lines of spring naked barley with low phytate content and high amylose content; 150 lines of spring barley with extremely high tolerance to severe drought conditions; 450 genotypes of spring naked barley according to the program of creating gluten-free barley. The Kriks barley variety was passed to state testing (Application №18019002 dated March 1, 2018). The winter white-striped triticale Albina variety was passed to state testing (Application 9019022001 dated March 4, 2019).
