Methodological and methodological bases for assessing the level of competitiveness in the food industry have been developed, based on five methodological approaches adapted to industry specifics, with the definition of a generalized rating of competitiveness of the food industry. An algorithm has been developed for assessing the competitiveness of individual food industry enterprises based on financial indicators and methodological approaches to assessing the economic situation in the food industry under conditions of risks and uncertainty. An economic and mathematical model of investment and innovation processes in the food industry, adapted to EU methodology, has been developed. The proposals that should be the basis for medium- and long-term strategies of innovative development are substantiated. The methodical approach to the assessment of the financial potential of providing innovative modernization of the food industry enterprises has been improved. Methodical recommendations for ensuring stable innovation and investment development of the food industry are offered. The concept of the state policy of increase of competitiveness of the food industry which consists in a substantiation of the strategic purposes and target indicators of development of branch on the basis of three basic criteria is formed: maintenance of food safety; investment and innovation development and profitability of enterprises of the main branches of the food industry.   Product Description popup.authors Bokiy Olena V.
