Purpose: To conduct a molecular genetic assessment of the genetic structure of animals of aboriginal breeds of cattle and to develop recommendations for the systematic application of methodological approaches to determine the adaptation potential and the use of molecular genetic markers in the system of biodiversity conservation. Research methods: PCR-RFLP, microsatellite analysis, cytogenetic analysis with differential staining of chromosomes. Resistance and stress resistance were studied on the basis of veterinary records, the results of hematological studies; analysis of the qualitative composition of cow's milk was performed using an automatic milk quality analyzer "Lactoscope Cn-2.1". To determine somatic cells in milk used "Mastoprim" - a test (according to GOST 23453-90). Statistical analysis of the results was performed using special programs for population genetic analysis - GenAIEx 6.5, IBM SPSS Statistics V24.0, BOTTLENECK, PopGene and NeEstimato, Statistica 6.0. As a result of molecular genetic analysis of biomaterial samples from animals of 26 breeds of cattle, which are stored in the bank of genetic resources of animals IRGT. M.V. The following results were obtained with the NAAS tooth. Analysis of the genetic structure of meat breeders was performed by loci of quantitative traits (QTL), namely: calpain (CAPN1 530), thyroglobulin (TG5) and myostatin (MSTN), which are involved in the formation of tenderness, marbling of meat and double muscles . The results indicate that the bank contains biomaterial from the breeders of meat breeds, which are mainly carriers of the desired alleles for meat productivity genes.
