Carriers of gene alleles Ppd-D1a, Ppd-D1b, Ppd-D1c, Ppd-D1d, Ppd-B1a, Ppd-B1c, Ppd-A1b, PpdA1_del303, PpdA1_del2ex7, ZCCT-1, Lr24, Lr26, LrAmigo, Lr34, Sr24, Sr31, Sr58, SrAmigo, Pm8, Pm17, Pm38, Yr9, Yr18, Bdv1 were identified. A database on allelic characteristics of 29 cultivars with 8 Yr genes, 17 cultivars - Lr46 and Lr68, 196 cultivars - Lr13 was created. There was identified a codominant STS marker that allows to differentiate homozygous and heterozygous genotypes by translocation from Triticum speltoides, and was identified a new gene of stem rust resistance derived from the spring wheat line F-7 (‘Neepawa’ * 6 / Triticum speltoides). The influence of Lr34, Lr46, Lr68 genes in various combinations on leaf rust resistance and their pleiotropic effects on the allele complex of Hg, TaSnRK2.8, Rht-B1e, Rht-B1b and Rht-B1a genes and on phenotypic differences in stem color (anthocianic or green) and in awnedness (presence or absence) was studied in the field of southern Ukraine. Associations of allelic differences in MS loci with a set of valuable agronomic traits were revealed. It was created and characterized a new initial source material for genetic research and for use in breeding. Namely, the best productive 42 lines were given to the Institute breeders and 2 lines of alternative type durum wheat (‘Factor odes’ky’ - 2017 and ‘Fakir odes’ky’ - 2019) were transferred for the State variety testing.
