The purpose of the study is to develop and test a method for diagnosing emotional states of children with special educational needs by means of bioimpedance analysis. Research methods: theoretical analysis, systematization and generalization of research on the stated problem; an experiment to measure the electrical resistance of the skin in response to emotionally significant stimuli; time series analysis (cvxEDA convex function optimization method). The results of the study and their novelty: for the first time a method of diagnosing emotional states of children with special educational needs by means of bioimpedance analysis was developed and tested. Areas of application of the results: can be used in R&D to study the emotional sphere of people with developmental disabilities and typical development, as well as in the practice of psychologists of CEE and IRC.
