Objective: improving the system of preservation and promotion of health, preventing non-infectious diseases of able-bodied youth through hygienic substantiation of a model of medical and psychological support of educational and production activities of adolescents at different stages of vocational training. Methods: health status, quality of life, physical activity, subjective perception of one's health and factors of the educational and industrial environment, healthy lifestyle skills of students of general education and vocational schools; psychological (study of academic abilities, internal and external learning motivations, metacognitive abilities, social and psychological abilities, activity resources of personal development, social and psychological resources, intrapersonal resources). Results: the lack of an integral system of medical and psychological support for adolescents at the stage of professional self-determination is established; significant effect of the career guidance of young students on their quality of life related to health, and behavior related to health preservation is proven; a meaningful analysis of the motivation of educational activity and the analysis of social and psychological resources of personal development of adolescents in the process of professional self-determination are provided. Novelty: Based on the hygienic approach to the organization of educational and production activities of students of general and vocational education institutions, a system of medical and psychological support for persons during their vocational self-determination is developed.
