Tymoshenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Based on the asymptotic Biskow-Hutchinson method, an algorithm for constructing an analytical solution to the problem of the influence of various types imperfections on the stability and post-buckling behavior of composites cylindrical shells has been developed. The method is based on refined equations of Tymoshenko-Mindlin theory of shells. The method of continuous extension by Davydenko was used to pass critical points on the deformation trajectory. Data on the influence of initial geometric and structural imperfections on the buckling loads and the nature of the initial post-buckling behavior are obtained. Local defects of the shell surface and general defects in the form of the bulging mode, which occurs at buckling of the ideal shell, were considered. The influence of imperfections of the shell material in the form of incomplete contact of the components of the fibrous composite is also investigated. Studies of the behavior of shell structures under compressive loads are of both theoretical and practical interest.
