The most significant group of allergens in the southern regions of Ukraine is weed pollen. The most common reaction to ragweed is 83.5% among those who respond to weed pollen. It was found that the reaction to major components of pollen allergens is observed in 99.2% of patients. Seasonal bronchial asthma in children (especially young people) significantly more often than in adults. In 385 children with bronchial asthma, it was found that the frequency of reactions to plant pollen is directly proportional to the age of patients, severity and duration of bronchial asthma in children.
