The object of research is the professional activity of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units. The purpose of research is to determine the psychological characteristics of military personnel of the AFU units directly involved in the Joint Forces operation (JFO) for further development of psychological correction programs, psychological preparation and a set of mindset trainings. The task of the research is develop a psychological portrait of military personnel of the armed forces of Ukraine; determine the targets of psychocorrective influence depending on the specifics of the official activities of the AFU units; develop a methodology for identifying targets of psychocorrective influence and others. Based on the results of the study, the software "PSY-D" and "PSY-Des" were developed for diagnosing the psychological characteristics of military personnel of the armed forces of Ukraine. The tasks set for the research work were fully carried out. The report materials can be used as a basis for the development of psychological training programs, taking into account the specifics of Ukrainian armed forces units activities, and for the development of psychocorrective programs for military personnel who have returned from the combat zone, and can also serve as a reason for revising the existing system of aptitude screening. Also, the results of the work can become the basis for developing a program of advanced training courses for psychological officers to conduct psychodiagnostics with military personnel.
