Mathematical and simulation modeling of electromagnetic processes and calculations of the required parameters of the BSC were carried out, a BSC prototype was created and its characteristics were investigated. Practical recommendations for the creation of technical documentation for a promising model of 500 kW BSC were developed as well as methods for determining the recommended operating mode of energy storage devices and BSC, that work with power grids up to 120 kV with RES. The results of the work will be introduced in the electric power industry to improve the efficiency of the functioning of energy systems with RES.
