The purpose of the work was to determine the pathogenetic mechanisms of epileptic syndrome during Transcranial direct current stimulation (TDCS) of the cerebellum and cerebral cortex and to study the conditions for achieving a pronounced anticonvulsant action. It was found that the TDCS of the cerebellum, regardless of the polarity of the electrode, causes anticonvulsant effects in the model of pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) -induced kindling. On the model of maximum electroshock seizures, differences in the dynamics of the development of anticonvulsant effects were established under conditions of using the cathode and anode. The role of the old cerebellar cortex (lobule VI) in the implementation of anticonvulsant effects and their potentiation with axitinib, a tyrosine kinase B blocker, was determined. The proepileptogenic effect of silver nanoparticles was revealed. The role of peroxisomal proliferator-activated receptors (PPARγ) in the development of antiepileptic effects has been shown.
