It was found that the incidence of COPD probably increased gradually, depending on the dose. The course of disabling diseases of the bronchopulmonary system in persons exposed to ionizing radiation was accompanied by a high degree of dyspnea on the MRC scale, the frequency of exacerbations more than 2 per year, significantly higher incidence of comorbidities, including coronary heart disease, hypertension, thyroid and thyroid diseases. and nervous system. There was a significant violation of the ratio of lung volumes in patients with COPD liquidators, which indicates a decrease in lung elasticity, more pronounced respiratory disorders due to pulmonary hyperinflation. According to the assessment of the effectiveness of basic treatment of disabling pulmonary diseases, there was an improvement in the results of clinical, functional indicators of the bronchopulmonary system, but in the liquidators group recovery of exercise tolerance during treatment was significantly lower. Signs of the presence and progression of disabling pulmonary diseases should be considered the presence of risk factors (smoking, occupational hazards, frequent exacerbations bronchopulmonary system, liquidators of the Chernobyl in the first three months after the accident, high body mass index, the presence of several comorbidities, shortness of breath, low rates functional lung tests and the rapid dynamics of their reduction.
