The subject of study is theoretical and methodological foundations for ensuring professional development for EP in IP. The goal of the work is to build theoretical and methodological foundations of competence development for EP in IP and develop appropriate technology, providing the education institution transition into an innovative development mode. The results. The models, algorithms and technologies for advanced training of EP in IP were first developed in the work, demanded by the times after the Law of Ukraine "On Education" went into effect and the corresponding by-laws, normalized the diversification of educational services in this area in particular, these are: - conceptual models of advanced training for EP in IP, which theoretically substantiate the diversification of professional development processes; - competency based models of EP in IP, which are components of integral competency based models of EP. - models: continuing professional development of EP, including technology transfer. - algorithms for self-assessment of EP competence, considering their professional needs, and so on. - technologies for the competence development in IP for three target groups of teachers, future teachers, academic staff. - factorial- criterion evaluation models of EP competence in IP and the teacher's ability to engage in developing the innovations, identify IP objects, ensure a high level of academic respectability .
