Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The research project aims at experimental studies and empirical modeling of large-scale and global disturbalces in the Earth-atmosphere-ionosphere-magnetosphere system under quiet and disturbed conditions. The research project is concerned with high-energy processes and phenomena caused by earthquakes, geospace storms, solar eclipses, solar terminators, and by high-power radio emissions from remote radio systems, as well as by other associated natural high-energy processes. The object of the research is the emperical model of the processes and phenomena caused by earthquakes, geospace storms, solar eclipses, solar terminators, and by high-power radio emissions. The research project applies theoretical and experimental techniques, as well as computer and empirical modeling. Research results: Experimental studies and empirical modeling of high-energy processes in the Earth-atmosphere-ionosphere-magnetosphere system. The effects of earthquakes, geospace storms, action of powerful radio emissions from the distant heating facility have been investigated. The main parameters of the perturbations caused by high-energy sources have been determined. The empirical models have been developed for perturbations in the parameters of the signals used for probing processes arising under the action of high-power sources. The results can be used to predict changes in space weather and their impact on power systems and on the performance of radio systems for various use, as well as to forecast the possible consequences to human health.
