Research methods - methods of analysis and statistical processing of results. Based on the analysis of transients in the charging circuits of submersible electric discharge complexes for processing various wells with multistage energy conversion and taking into account the characteristics of modern geophysical cables up to 10 km long, connecting the ground and submersible part of the complex, the parameters of universal chargers with electrical circuits with AC or DC voltage cable transmission are calculated. The value of output power (up to 12 kVA) and voltage of chargers of the complex (260−1200 V) for different modes of operation of its charging circuit is substantiated by methods of mathematical modeling. The linear dependences of the DC output voltage of the charger on the active resistance of the geophysical cable for different charging modes of capacitors of the electric discharge complex are proposed, substantiated and obtained for the first time. This allowed to move to the modernization of the charger units, to give recommendations on the operation of the electric discharge complex with different brands of geophysical cables.
