Methodical approaches to rationing of investments in horticulture are substantiated. The current state of horticulture development, reproduction of orchards and berries, problems and prospects of investment support of the industry are analyzed. Theoretical and methodical bases of formation of strategy of investment maintenance of gardening are investigated. It is proposed to form a strategy of investment support in the form of a single integrated system, which includes economic, institutional, regulatory, informational aspects, which are interconnected by the criterion of achieving the main goal. Theoretical and methodical bases of formation of sources of investments in gardening are investigated. Proposals for investment support of industrial horticulture have been developed. As a result of theoretical generalization it is established that in modern economic conditions economic principles of substantiation and estimation of investment projects in gardening should be developed on the basis of the general theory of efficiency of investments taking into account properties of perennial plantings as the basic means of production. It is proposed to use the method of income discounting as the most universal method of investment valuation, based on the fundamental concept of modern financial theory of changes in the value of money over time.
