The purpose of research: to study the influence of the ecological situation of different landscapes of Ukraine on changes in the species composition of chelicerae, their ecomorphological characteristics to assess the state of practically important chelicerae complexes of Ukraine. Research methods –– standard and original ecological-faunal and morpho-functional methods and techniques. Ecological and faunal researches of practically important groups of chelicerae of different landscapes of Ukraine are carried out. Their biodiversity and ecological characteristics at change of conditions of their existence are studied. New species for science and fauna of Ukraine, new distribution areas have been added to the list of known species of mites and spiders in Ukraine. In the coastal steppe and the Carpathian region, new for Ukraine species of phytoseid mites, tetranich and erynetid mites have been registered. For the first time, a large-scale audit of the species composition of predatory phytoseid mites in plant associations of all natural areas of Ukraine was conducted. The spread of certain species of mites - carriers of pathogens dangerous to humans in the northern and western directions has been registered. New parasite-host relationships have been identified for known parasitic species. New morpho-functional data were obtained using polymer chain reaction methods, molecular genetic and electron microscopic studies. The manifestations of dispersion of morphological features of the Varroa mite as an indicator of different forms of species variability have been studied.
