The method of obtaining new chalcogenide compounds formed by binary semiconductor compounds, the components of which are REM (rare earth metals), p- and d-elements of groups I, II, p-elements of groups III, IV of the periodic system of elements DI has been improved. Mendeleev and chalcogens (p-elements of group VI). New ternary and tetrar materials of selenide-telluride and sulfide-telluride systems with yttrium (erbium) and copper were synthesized, the nature of interaction between elements in these systems was analyzed. An isothermal cross section of the Er2S3 – In2S3 – Ga2S3 system at a temperature of 770 K was constructed. (III), Ga3.46In1.58Yb4.96S15 (IV) and their crystal structures were investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis. They crystallize in the spatial group C2/m with cell periods: a = 2.34104 (6) nm, b = 0.381242 (12) nm, c = 1.25460 (4) nm, β = 90.775 (3) º (I); a = 2.35181 (17) nm, b = 0.38064 (3) nm, c = 1.25592 (9) nm, β = 90.954º (II); a = 2.35474 (8) nm, b = 0.378634 (15) nm, c = 1.25164 (4) nm, β = 90.988 (3) º (III), a = 2.34427 (7) nm, b = 0.377641 (8) nm , c = 1.24970 (3) nm, β = 90.970º (IV). The existence of the compound Pr2PbSe4 (spatial group I 3d, a = 0.89916 nm) was revealed.
