Lamb ewes and rams, obtained in the selection by the fineness of the coat, have a tendency to reduce the length and yield of the wool clip. The positive influence of selection on the increase in the proportion of the wool desired assortments was established, the proportion of animals with the main grade of 70 quality increased to 23.1%.It has been established that at the age of 2 years the lamb ewes have the maximum wool clip and a high yield of pure fiber, and at the annual age - the length of the wool. Up to 3 years of age, the diameter of wool fibers grows in all topographic parts of the body, and the proportion of animals with thin assortments decreases. The forecast of the ewes' productivity level is effective both at the annual and at 2 years of age according to the following indicators: wool fineness, unwashed wool shearing and body weight; since the repeatability factor of these indicators is 0.607 ... 0.490.Methodological methods of improving the Ascanian Fine-Fleeced breed sheep Tavrian type have been developed.
