Aim of the research stage: to determine the criteria for assessing the functional state of the nervous and muscular systems, the psychophysiological state of athletes in various sports; to create a technology for predicting the risk of injuries of athletes, which will include organizational and methodological components, informative methods and scales for assessing the functional state of the nervous and muscular systems, psychophysiological state; to develop scientifically substantiated recommendations and proposals for the correction of the training process and competitive activities of qualified athletes, which will reduce the level of injuries of athletes. Research object: Functional state of the neuromuscular system, psychophysiological features of athletes. Article of research: Changes in electroneuromyographic and psychophysiological indices of athletes as a result of adaptation to intensive sports training. Methods of researches: The complex of methods for determination of the basic parameters of the functional state and properties of the neuromuscular apparatus, the individual-typological features of the higher nervous activity of athletes (level of the brain working capacity, level of functional mobility of nervous processes, equilibrium of nervous processes), psychological testing, questionnaire survey, observation, statistical methods. Research results: Approaches to the development of technology for monitoring electroneuromyographic and psychophysiological indicators for early diagnosis of disorders of the nervous and muscular systems of athletes (pain, etc.).
