A productive K27M cell line has been created, which accumulates target antihypertensive and antiarrhythmic alkaloids. It is established that the optimal conditions for its cultivation are: nutrient medium with high sucrose content up to 10%, growing in the dark at a temperature of 27-28 °C and relative humidity of 65-75% for 40 days before subculture and 60-70 days before harvesting. Five batches of cell biomass in total of 1.5 kg with different content of alkaloids were accumulated. Key stages of isolation, purification, and identification of alkaloids from cellular biomass have been developed. HPLC methods were used to identify alkaline alkaloids; individual alkaloids were isolated and purified.
