The research method is analytical. As a result of research, the national standard "Protection structures of civil protection. Methods of inspection and testing", which establishes the requirements for testing special equipment and engineering systems of protection structures of civil protection to determine the operational suitability of such structures. The national standard will be used during the commissioning of civil protection structures, after their completion (new construction, reconstruction, overhaul restoration), which will help to verify the protection properties of protection structures. The application of the standard will help to ensure an apropriate level of protection of the population in the event of emergencies in peacetime and special periods.
