Purpose: to create physical and chemical bases for the operation of highly efficient sensory and diagnostic systems for the analysis of gases and liquid solutions. Research methods: photoluminescence, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoelectric and electrophysical methods, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, principal components method, electrochemical etching method, plasma chemical deposition technology (PECVD). The photoluminescence (PL) of colloidal solutions of carbon nanotubes (CNT) and the photoelectric properties of the Si / colloidal CNT solution interface were studied. It has been shown that a recombination sensor based on a silicon barrier structure allows to efficiently recognize CNT solutions of metallic and semiconductor type. A mathematical model of the recombination sensor is proposed and the dependence of the photocurrent on the near-surface bending of the zones in the Stevenson-Case approximation is calculated. It is shown that the "optoelectronic language" based on Si-Si / SiNX structures using the method of principal components allows to recognize vegetable oils. In particular, it was confirmed that the lifetime of photogenerated charge carriers is an effective physical parameter that provides high sensitivity of silicon-based structures, allowing to reflect the complex physicochemical interaction between the surface of the structure and the liquid analyte. In order to obtain microscopic electronic images of biological cells, a recombination sensor was adapted and images of onion cells were studied using nanoparticles as selective and contrast agents.
