It has been established that alfalfa is distinguished by the highest parameters of crude protein accumulation of 3.22-3.33 t / ha compared to meadow clover (2.61-2.85 t / ha) and sandy sainfoin (2.57-2.82 t / ha). Mineral fertilizers in a dose of Р180К180, in comparison with organic fertilizers, promote better transformation of nitrogen from the soil into alfalfa plants (3.09-3.41% versus 2.75-3.34%). Perennial legumes provide a consistent supply of high-protein green mass during the growing season with a profitability level of 134-168%. Based on the study of bioenergy cultivation of perennial legumes different dormancy classes, developed adaptive technology of their cultivation in fodder crop rotations of right-bank forest-steppe (scientific and methodological recommendations).
