Section 1. Development, manufacturing and optimization of new sensing materials on the basis of conducting hybrid nanocomposites. popup.stage_title Head Pud Oleksandr A., Доктор хімічних наук Registration Date 01-02-2021 Organization V.P. The selection of the polymer matrix and the nanoscale electrically conductive material, as well as their ratios have been carried out, in order to form the conductive percolation network of dispersed nanoparticles in the developed nanocomposites. The conductive percolation network should possess the ability to change its characteristics by sensory interaction with volatile organic compounds and ammonia. The optimal conditions for the formation and for the application of the developed nanocomposites on the chemoresistive sensor electrodes are found. The nanocomposites based on polymethyl methacrylate and polyaniline-coated carbon nanotubes in the ratio of 0.2% are shown to possess a high sensitivity to isopropanol. It has been established that nanocomposites based on polyvinylidene fluoride containing 0.03% of the naked carbon nanotubes or 0.5% of the polyaniline-coated nanotubes are characterized by the highest selectivity and sensitivity to volatile organic compounds.
