The aim is to study the source selection material of yellow fodder lupine in order to create a new variety and transfer it to the State variety test with high yields of vegetative mass and grain resistant to diseases with low alkaloid content. A new variety of yellow lupine has been created. The 4 best lines were selected for further selection research. The new variety and lines of yellow lupine are characterized by tolerance to pests and diseases, resistance to lodging, shedding of beans and abortion. Vegetation period 117-119 days, disease resistance 8-9 points, protein content in grain 34-35%, alkaloid content not more than 0.01%. Grain yield 1.9-2.1 t / ha, green mass 43-47 t / ha.
