Results: Scientifically substantiated methods of obtaining new composite materials capable of effectively dissipating the energy of shock load have been developed. The optimal parameters of reaction hot pressing for obtaining high-density refractory nanocomposite ceramic materials based on boron carbide and borides or oxides of transition metals with a structure that determines the resistance of these materials to high-speed shock load. Ceramic materials of TiB2 - Al - B2O3 - C, TiC - B4C, B4C - HfH1,7 systems have high mechanical characteristics (microhardness up to 25 GPa and crack resistance up to 10 MPa-m1 / 2), which can be used as materials for protection against high-speed shock load, cutting elements of metalworking and drilling tools, lining of boilers of thermal power plants A composite system capable of absorbing the energy of the shock load in separate layers and changing the direction of its propagation in the plane of the protective plates has been created. The selection of the material of the components of the layers of protective plates is carried out both on the basis of the conducted researches, and on condition of optimization of their specific weight. A utility model has been developed for anatomically adapted compact composite layered materials that can change shape as elements of "soft armor" for the manufacture of light bulletproof vests and other personal protective equipment Product Description popup.authors Yeremenko Genadiy V Zagorodniy Vjacheslav V Kepich Tiberiy Yu.
