Object of research: constructive elements, properties and tactical and technical characteristics of goggles of service dogs (further - GSD). Purpose: to conduct research on the peculiarities of creating goggles for service dogs based on the application of the principles of a systematic approach to the design of special purpose products and using scientifically sound approaches to their implementation. Research method: analysis of tactical and technical characteristics and properties of existing safety goggles for service dogs and forecasting of perspective requirements for product design. Results of work and their novelty: definition of the substantiated tactical and technical requirements, the basic constructive and technical and operational characteristics, proceeding from requirements on purpose, overall dimensions, service life, materials used in a design, weight, conditions of storage, operation and service in the form draft terms of reference for the development of GSD. Results of research work: scientific research work materials can be used when ordering GSD for canine units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Predictive assumptions about the development of the object of study: the introduction of GSD in the practical activities of canine units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in order to use in the performance of tasks.
