Purpose of the work: to determine the features of breeding and using the perillus bug in the conditions of Ukraine. An analytical review of the biological characteristics, breeding and use of the predatory bug was carried out. Perillus bioculatus (Fabricius, 1775) comes from North America. Effective entomophage of the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa ​​decemlineata Sey, 1824). The bug acclimatized on the territory of Europe, including in various agro-climatic zones of Ukraine. The analysis of climatic conditions of the regions of Ukraine with developed potato growing is carried out. The most favorable conditions for growing crops are Forest-steppe and Polesie. But, in the presence of certain agrotechnical measures, potato growing is also profitable in the Steppe zone. It was determined that all agroclimatic zones of Ukraine are suitable for the use of the perillus bug. The structure of the technology of mass breeding of the predatory bug Perillus bioculatus has been determined.
