Successful horse breeding is not possible without veterinary support of the industry. One of the serious problems in horse breeding is infectious anemia of horses, and respiratory diseases of horses, which are registered in most countries of the world. The relevance of the topic is to study the immunobiochemical properties of pathogens of infectious anemia and equine influenza, it will reveal the mechanisms of pathogenesis of the disease, which must be taken into account during diagnostic studies and health measures. The aim of the research was to study the biochemical and immunological bases of the infectious process in influenza and infectious anemia of horses in Ukraine and to improve their diagnosis and control measures. Object of study: patients with infectious anemia and equine influenza, cell culture, virus strains. Based on the obtained research results, the following methods were developed: a method for increasing the sensitivity of the diffuse precipitation reaction, a method for determining the suitability of nutrient media for cell culture, an effective method for determining contamination of nutrient media for cell culture, a method for determining the growth of erythrocytes, an effective method of removing non-specific hemagglutinins from the serum of horses in the reaction of inhibition of hemagglutination and indirect hemagglutination, a method of carrying out the reaction of inhibition of hemagglutination using cell culture.
