The purpose of the work is to develop the technology of processing organic waste of plant origin using the black lion fly. The analysis of existing wastes of vegetable origin is carried out. The breeding of the black lion fly on vegetable wastes of the food industry and agricultural wastes and their mixtures was studied. It has been established that it is possible to use a fly to process different types of agricultural waste of plant origin and their mixtures, but each type of waste requires a certain number of larvae and a term for their processing. The technology of processing of organic waste of a vegetable origin with use of an insect is created. Technological parameters of all processing processes are determined. According to the results of research, the method "Breeding of the black lion fly" and scientific and practical recommendations "Technology of processing organic waste of plant origin using the black lion fly" were developed.
