The aim of this work is to develop the biological basis for the cultivation of the most promising entomophage of the Coccinellidae family to protect agricultural crops from pests. The promising species for mass cultivation in artificial conditions have been identified and laboratory cultures have been created: Propylaea quatuordecimpunctata L., Coccinella septempunctata L. A technique has been developed for introducing entomophages from the Coccinellidae family into culture. The technological processes for breeding common cereal aphids and grain moths have been optimized. A method for optimizing the grain moth population and a method for breeding phytophages as food for Coccinellidae have been developed. The optimal diet for feeding coccinelids in the juvenile stage using moth eggs has been determined. Methods for determining the biological parameters of Coccinellidae have been developed. The adaptive processes of the natural population of the seven-spot ladybug in the technocenosis have been determined. The influence of abiotic conditions, type of substrate, density of content on the development of insects was investigated. Certain dynamics of food consumption by Propylea quatuordecimpunctata larvae and the influence of the initial number of aphids on the number of phytophages destroyed by adult propylea. The technical conditions for the entomological preparation seven-point ladybug, the technology for breeding the seven-point ladybug, which is set out in the technological regulations, have been developed.
