The purpose of the work is to develop the biological foundations for introducing plant protection into the culture and breeding of bedbugs, developing a method for selective improvement of artificial populations of bedbugs in terms of high productivity and viability, determining the parameters of the technocenosis of bedbug breeding, developing methods for mass breeding, collecting and packing bedbugs, developing new competitive methods of use bedbugs based on ecological and biological relations in the triotroph system to protect greenhouse crops against thrips and whiteflies. Research methods - laboratory and experimental-technological research of insect cultures, mathematical processing of experimental results. The optimal substrates for laying eggs by bedbugs have been selected. Formed a line with a high rate of individual fecundity of females, as well as a line of insects with high viability, which are resistant to residual amounts of insecticides. The optimal abiotic parameters for their cultivation by the criterion of biological indicators of bedbugs have been determined. Designs of cages for two types of bugs are proposed. The amount of food consumed by predatory bugs at each stage of development has been determined. Methods for breeding, collecting and packing bedbugs have been developed. New competitive methods for the use of predatory bugs have been created on the basis of ecological and biological relations in the triotroph system for vegetable peppers against whiteflies and thrips in greenhouses.
