Lazaryan popup.description2 The object of research and development is the process of assessing the compliance of new and modernized railway equipment with modern requirements for traffic safety and reliability by creating innovative multifunctional test benches for resource tests and strength tests of rail rolling stock elements. The aim of the work is to develop and implement innovative designs of multifunctional stands for acceptance tests and certification of rail rolling stock before admission to the railway infrastructure. Research methods: mathematical modeling of processes that occur in the elements of the wheel pairs of rail rolling stock during operation, using theories of strength, the theory of elastic contact of Hertz; simulation of load of wheels, axles and wheel pairs with the help of specialized computer programs. Schemes are made and parameters of stands for tests on fatigue and contact strength of wheels, axles and wheel pairs of rail rolling stock are substantiated. A number of technical solutions of bench equipment for testing of railway wheels, axles and wheel pairs for fatigue strength are patented. Designs of test stands are developed: the sketch project of the stand for carrying out mechanical tests of railway wheels of rail rolling stock for the purpose of definition of indicators of fatigue strength; technical design of the stand for mechanical tests of railway axles of rail rolling stock to determine fatigue strength; technical design of the stand for mechanical tests of wheel pairs of rail rolling stock in order to determine the fatigue strength.
