The purpose of the work is to improve the quality of forming a roll from flax tape on the basis of improving the design of the pressing chamber of variable volume roll baler and substantiating the parameters of its working bodies by disclosing the process of forming a roll from flax tape; - increase of productivity and reduction of energy consumption of flax harvesting on the basis of substantiation of parameters and research of the flax-pulling apparatus with transversal streams; - improving the quality of flax stalks spreading on the basis of design development and substantiation of the parameters of the output device of the flax harvester due to the disclosure of the flax stem spreading process; - increasing the efficiency of mechanized potato fertilizer based on the application of the method of batch spatially-oriented application of granular fertilizers with its simultaneous planting by justifying the parameters, creating and using a device for batch fertilization. The objectives of the work are theoretical and experimental studies of agricultural machinery to improve their design and justify the parameters of the working bodies and modes of operation.
