Intensive urbanization of territories has led to the need to increase the level of environmental protection technologies, in particular the control of air pollution of agglomerations. According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of August 14, 2019 №827 "Some issues of state monitoring in the field of air protection", and the results of comparative analysis of monitoring Ukraine and the European Union, identified a number of shortcomings, including lack of automated air pollution analysis, in particular the content of particulate matter, and the lack of widespread information and public interest in the state of the air in cities. An important task is to create a network for monitoring the state of air pollution in the city, which will allow for independent monitoring of air pollution, taking into account regulations and regulations. Subject of research: technogenic air pollution of the city. Object of research: assessment of the state of air pollution in the city. A comparative analysis of the state of air pollution in Leipzig (Germany) and Poltava, improved the calculation of the meteorological potential of the city's atmosphere, derived and calculated the equation of the dependence of atmospheric dust with meteorological parameters. For the first time the concept of creation of public monitoring of atmospheric air of the city is substantiated, the equation for calculation of influence of meteorological factors on a condition of pollution of atmospheric air by PM2.5 dust particles is deduced. The reliability of the main scientific provisions and the results obtained in the dissertation is ensured by the correctness of the application of mathematical analysis, software and approbation of theoretical research by conducting experimental research.
