The object of the research is the non-cereal part of the corn and sunflower harvest. The subject of the research is the dependence of the indicators of energy technology assessment on the parameters of technical means. The aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of harvesting the non-grain part of the crop of corn and sunflower for energy purposes by developing technologies and justifying technical means. Research methods: experimental, theoretical. The results obtained were processed by regression analysis using a PC. Research results: A methodology has been developed for the energy-technological substantiation of technical means for harvesting the non-grain portion of the corn and sunflower harvest for energy purposes. Mathematical models have been developed and modeling of the processes of harvesting the non-grain part of the corn and sunflower harvest has been carried out. A project was developed and a set of machines for an energy-saving technological process of harvesting the non-grain part of the crop of corn and sunflower for energy purposes was justified. Indicators of energy efficiency of technologies for harvesting the non-grain part of the crop of corn and sunflower for energy purposes have been determined. The structural and technological schemes and parameters of technical means for harvesting the non-grain part of the crop of corn and sunflower for energy purposes have been substantiated. A technical assignment has been developed for the development of design documentation for the manufacture of a roll-type baler device for collecting, accumulating and dispensing the crushed mass. Experimental research and production testing of the harvesting processes for non-grain part of corn and sunflower have been carried out.
