The purpose of research: to study and scientifically substantiate the influence of organic matter of different origin on the fertility indicators of sod-podzolic soil and the productivity of short-rotation crop rotations in Polissya. The research was related to the comparative assessment of crop productivity in short-rotation crop rotations, calculation of the balance of humus and nutrients, bioenergy and economic analysis of fertilizer application. As a result, it was found that the use of by-products, in particular cereal straw in combination with half the dose of manure and straw in combination with intermediate sowing of lupine on green manure crop productivity in crop rotations is almost equal to the option of applying a full dose of manure (40 t / ha ), while providing a deficit-free balance of humus and nutrients, reduces energy consumption for their cultivation and increases profitability.
