Their average levels during 5 months of observations did not undergo significant changes and were within the hygienic standards. In the process of treatment in water there is a periodic increase in total iron (up to 1.96 mg / dm3). Its level is 2 times higher than the maximum allowable concentration in relation to the hygienic standard. This may be due to the specific action of the reagent used Sequest. In the water distribution network under the action of Sequest there is no excessive increase in water levels of total hardness, calcium and magnesium. In the studied samples of drinking water, the levels of substances that are part of the reagent Sequest (polyphosphates, orthophosphates) fluctuated at different sampling points, without compromising its quality. Polyphosphates were within the normative values. Laboratory studies have shown that the quality of water treated with orthopolyphosphate reagent Sikvest, according to the main sanitary and chemical parameters, except for iron, meets the requirements of hygienic standards DSanPiN 2.2.4.171-10. This allows us to recommend its intended use in drinking water supply systems.
