Comprehensive multifactor comparative environmental assessment of the measures of the draft Environmental Protection Program for the city of Kharkiv for 2021-2030 using the hierarchy analysis (IAI) method. The results and their novelty - for the first time for the city of Kharkiv, a strategic environmental assessment of the draft Environmental Protection Program was performed according to the procedure that meets the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Strategic Environmental Assessment". The probable consequences of the Program are assessed as positive, as they are aimed at ensuring sustainable economic and social development of the city through the implementation of priority measures for environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, reduction of emissions and discharges of pollutants into the environment, safe management of industrial and household waste, preservation of the territories of the nature reserve fund, formation of safe living conditions of people with approximation to the European ecological standards.
