The subject of research is the patterns of changes in the temperature and humidity of grain in the fields of temperature gradients and the partial pressure of the system heat carrier - grain. The aim of the work is to reduce energy costs in mine dryers by reducing the emissions of thermal energy with spent drying agent by reusing it. Research methods - theoretical and experimental, modeling - identification of the process of drying grain, development of technical task on experimental - design work. In the design and technology scheme of the energy-saving dryer with the repeated use of the drying agent, the distribution of the routes of the fresh drying agent, the spent drying agent and the spent cooling agent through the grain at different stages of its drying is defined. A mock-up model of the technical tool for the study of heat-exchange processes on the basis of the physical model of an energy-saving dryer with the reuse of a drying agent has been developed and manufactured. It has been established that the reuse of the drying agent can lower the temperature of the spent drying agent from 50-60oC to 30-40oC and increase its relative humidity from 60-70% to 95-98%. The resulting analytical dependence of the humidity and grain temperature on the temperature and moisture content of the drying agent in the set of basic parameters of the process allows to determine the modes of operation of the dryer units. A technical task has been developed for the development work "Grain dryer with repeated use of drying agent."
