Goal: maintenance plantations of viable genetic resources, study of morphological and economic traits of the samples, identification and inclusion of sources and donors of economically valuable traits into collections for the formation of trait collections.Research methods - introductory, field, laboratory, biochemical, biometric. The gene pool has 853 samples, including 203 apple cultivars, 114 – pear, 131 – sweet cherry, 113 – sour cherry, 157 – apricot, and 135 – peach. The gene pool collection was enriched by 5 samples. 169 sources of individual and complex traits were identified, 4 samples of sweet cherry gene pool were used in the selection process. Trait collections of sweet cherry and apple based on fruit quality were registered.
